Tuni culprits to be booked: JV Ramudu
The incidents in Tuni following the Kapu Unity Garjana are not acceptable to society, AP Director-General of Police JV Ramudu said on Wednesday. Visiting the policemen who were chased and beaten by mobs in Tuni, the DGP said those behind the Tuni attacks needed to be punished. Already witnesses have come forward relating to the incidents. It was based on eye-witness accounts and clear evidence in black and white that the inquiry was proceeding. The culprits would be brought to book, he added. Media was clear witness to what happened and how it happened. Everything was there in black and white. Whatever the interested parties might say, the truth was there and hard evidence would be put before the law. Innocents would be spared and culprits would be punished, he added.
