No message from CM on Kapu GO, says Mudragada
Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham made it clear on Wednesday that he had not received any communication from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu regarding reported GO on the issue of Kapus' includion in the Backward Classes list.
At the same time, Mudragada pointed out that the Chief Minister was going round stating that the GO for BC inclusion, as issued by the then Chief Minister Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy, was a fraud. If it were so, the Kapu leader pleaded that the Chief Minister should issue a fresh GO.
In case no GO is issued, the Kapu leader said he along with his wife would go on an indefinite fast at his residence at Kirlampudi on Friday.
At the same time, he pointed out that the Kapus had hit the roads only because the ruling TDP had promised about their inclusion in the BC list. It was therefore incumbent on the chief Minister to do the needful for the Kapus.
Referring to the media charge that he was insulting them, Mudragada said he would not stoop low as to flay the media. But if the media felt so, he would apologise to the aggrieved media.
