Mudragada checking Kapu role in Tuni arson, violence
Mudragada Padmanabham, Kapu supremo, has started a damage-control operation following the Tuni incidents of arson and violence.
After meeting the media on Wednesday morning, Mudragada made it a point to visit the houses of Kapus in Tuni to ask them what exactly happened after the `Kapu Unity Roar' was over in Tuni on Sunday last.
He was also assuring the Kapus not to worry about the police investigations following the violence. If the Kapus had not participated in the violence, they had no reason to fear. In any case, he was with them.
Mudragada was particular whether the kapus of Tuni had taken part in the violence and arson.
The community leader has been claiming that the Kapus demanding Backward Calss status were not among the violent demonstrators. They had nothing to fear even if there were arrests in Tuni town in East Godavari.
