First Zika case found in Texas

The Dallas County and Human Health Services study has found a Zika case in the state. When it was inquired into, it was found that a person from Dallas had gone to Venezuela. It was after the person's return and conjugal relationship that the Zika case was discovered.
The US Center for Disease Control has confirmed the Zika case in Texas.
The Zika virus has taken epidemic proportions in South American countries after it was first discovered in Brazil. The women affected by the virus deliver babies who have smaller and deformed heads.
