YCP behind Tuni violence, alleges AP Dy CM
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa on Monday alleged that the YCP had used the Kapu `Roar' meeting in Tuni to raise a law and order issue in the State.
Chinarajappa also claimed that he had evidence to prove that YCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy had given financial aid for the Kapu meeting. He further alleged that the anti-social elements from Cuddapah had created the violence.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the YCP had a clear role in the Tuni violence and that the Kapu leader, Mudragada Padmanabham, had exploited the Kapu sentiments at the meeting. Mudragada was a liar, he added.
He urged the Kapu community, to which he also belongs, not to fall for the designs of Mudragada. He reminded the community that a special corporation had already been created to look after the Kapu interests.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was making every effort to come to the aid of the Kapus and also including the community in the Backward Classes list.
