Student groups use blades at Bandar Youth Waves

Two student groups clashed at the Hindu College in Machilipatnam on Saturday with blades, injuring several youth. The injured have been hospitalised. A programme, Young Waves, was organised in the college to make the students aware of job opportunities for them. The clash occurred over the seating arrangement for the Municiapal School boys in the Hindu College grounds. Students from all institutions in Machilipatnam had arrived at the venue. The student groups pushed each other and soon the groups clashed using blades. Both sides got injured in the clash. The chief guest at the programme was Minister Kollu Ravindra, who remained a mute spectator.
