Four gunmen relieve Patiala man of car

A Patiala man claims he was relieved of his car by four gunmen at gunpoint on Saturday morning. The terror-stricken man, who ran to the police station, lodged a complaint in this regard with the police. The police registered the complaint and started a search for the gunmen. The incident was very much like what preceded Pathankot terror attack when the terrorists hijacked the car of the SP-ranked police officer Salwinder Singh, who is subject of a probe by the National Investigation Agency. After Pathankot, there were several false alarms in Gurdaspur and elsewhere in Punjab of people seeing terrorists. Wire services are however silent on the Patiala incident on Saturday. Did the man have one Patiala peg too many? Details are awaited.
