Rahul to revisit HCU, join hunger strike

Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has found a room in Hyderabad Central University to reach out to the youth, agitated as they are over suicide by research scholar Rohith Vemula. It was just the other day that Rahul was with the HCU students, where he made an emotional speech. Now, having been told that Saturday being Rohith's birth anniversary, Rahul is rushing back to Hyderabad to be with the students and the bereaved family. While Rahul is expected to arrive in Hyderabad at midnight on Friday night, the students and the family had decided to go on a hunger strike over their many demands. While the HCU students are expecting Rahul's participation in the hunger strike, Congress sources are yet to confirm the visit. Since the decision to join the hunger strike is Rahul's, he would be with the students from midnight to dusk on Saturday.
