Jagan flays govt on sacking and not recruiting

Jaganmohan Reddy, YCP leader, has criticised the AP government that it had dismissed the multiple award-winning Arogyashri personnel. Speaking at a meeting in Kakinada on Wednesday, Jagan regretted that 6,000 employees of the Arogyashri programme had been unceremoniously removed despite their bagging as many as 28 awards for the programme. He also said cluster schools were being scrapped by the State government. The State government was claiming that there were 148,000 government jobs. So the people were eagerly waiting as to when the jobs would be filled. Quoting the example of Telangana, Jagan said when that State government had advertised for 100,000 posts, even for those jobs for which the minimum eligibility was X class pass, double post-graduates, post-graduates and degree holders had applied. In AP, he feared the job market would be much worse. He said the AP government had conducted the DAC, announced the result and forgot about it. He was very angry with the insensitive nature of the governments.
