Ramgopal Verma rues missing `Padma'
Rajamouli got Padmashree and I dint even get my childhood sweetheart Padma...This i think is a Bahubalian failure. Thus lamented crime thriller film director Ramgopal Verma for not getting Padma award. He didn't even get his childhood sweetheart by the name of Padma. Not that Ramgopal does not know why Rajamouli got the Padmasree. Rajamouli's `Bahubali' is a regional film strutting about on the world cinema stage. Naturally the elevation needs to be rewarded. What about Ramgopal himself, who is a noted film-maker? He would shortly be making a film on Dawood Ibrahim. Ramgopal claims he has had a tete-a-tete with the underworld don, wherein Dawood had told him his experience. If so, it would be wonderful to see a telling film on crime, not to eulogise crime but to put it in perspective. If he can roll out a great film, Ramgopal would surely figure in the Padma list. Also Ramgopal would regain his childhood sweetheart, if not in body, at least in spirit.
