Ronaldinho escapes unhurt in Kerala car mishap

Brazilian footballer Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, commonly known as Ronaldinho or Ronaldinho Gaúcho, on Monday escaped unhurt as the car in which he was traveling met with a mishap in Thiruvananthapuram. Ronaldinho was visiting India in connection with the inauguration of Nagji international football club tournament at Government Girls High School in Nadakkav in Kerala. As he was traveling in the car in the Kerala capital, a traffic signal fell on the car despite the driver trying to avoid the mishap. But nothing happened to the occupants of the car, including Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho was a forward in the winning Brazilian team in the 2002 World Cup. Kerala fancies bringing football greats to the State. Last year Diego Maradona of Argentina had visited the State.
