Malladi Vishnu has wealth of Rs.600 crore

Former Congress MLA Malladi Vishnu has amassed wealth of Rs.600 crore, according to the probe carried out by the Special Investigations Team. The SIT, which is looking into the adulterated liquor case, has drawn up Vishnu property in Krishna and Guntur districts as Rs.600 crore. The SIT, which has tipped off the Enforcement Directorate about Vishnu wealth, has acquired information from the various sub-registrar offices in Krishna and Guntur districts. The Vishnu family owns the Swarna Bar in Krishnalanka, where adulterated liquor claimed five lives. Vishnu, among other things, is said to own 28 acres land in the Amaravati area. Malladi Vishnu gives a lot of discount for the SIT claims and says he does not have that kind of property.
