Ramoji Rao gets Padma Vibhushan

Newspaper baron Ramoji Rao has been honoured with Padma Vibhushan award in the annual Padma awards announced by the Central government on Monday. The others to get Padma Vibhushan are Tamil Superstar Rajnikant, Spiritual Guru Ravishankar, Indian music exponent Girija Devi, famous Bharatanatyam exponent Yamini Krishnamurthi, in the medical field Vishwanathan Shanta, for services to the people former Governor Jagmohan, and in literary field Avinash Dixit. Industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani has been given Padma Vibhushan posthumously.
