Rakesh Roshan faces story theft, filing defamation suit

Noted Bollywood Director Rakesh Roshan is preparing to file a defamation suit against Sudanshu Pandey. The defamation suit could be as high as Rs.50 crore, according to Bollywood sources. Sudanshu is a model and actor. Sudanshu had alleged that his `Farmaish' story had been stolen. The story has been transformed as `Kabil', which would be a Hrithik Roshan starrer. The film is being readied by Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta for release, he alleged. Sudanshu had filed a police complaint in this regard, and the police have questioned Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta. Their statements have also been recorded. At this stage, Rakesh Roshan had decided to file the defamation suit. Film scripts are known to be heavily changed. At least in Tollywood, the scripts are so changed that the final outcome would have no resemblance with the original.
