Whole Rupee rolls in for Pavala Shyamala!

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has responded substantially to an account of financial straits being faced by a Telugu actress, Pavala Shyamala, as reported in the press. Shyamala went to the Camp Office of the Chief Minister on Monday, when KCR showered her with temporary and permanent gifts. Shyamala, who was accompanied by her daughter, was given immediate payment of Rs.20,000, allotment of a double bedroom house and Rs.10,000 payment each month. The reports said Shyamala was not in a position to pay the monthly rent, so the double bedroom house was allotted to her. There are many such stories in Tollywood. Ageing artistes are suffering as roles do not keep rolling in. Would the government make a provision for them?
