Sharif orders ISI probe into Pathankot attack
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced the constitution of a Joint Investigation Team at the highest level to go into Pathankot airbase terror attack perpetrated by Islamabad's home-grown terroist group, Jaishe Muhammad.
Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Pakistani Army authorities will comprise the JIT.
Sharif took the decision on Monday following a meeting of the Pakistani groups and forwarding by India evidence of Pakistani home-grown terrorist presence in the attack.
India has tied the outcome of such a probe with the scheduled foreign secretary level talks, which at present stand suspended.
