Andhras behind Hyderabad's development, Yerrabelli tells TRS

Yerrabelli Dayakar Rao, TDP leader in the Telangana Assembly, has come out of the shadows challenging the ruling TRS spearhead in the GHMC poll campaign, KTR, and assuring the Andhras in the twin cities that the next Deputy Mayor of the Corporation will be from their ranks. Dayakar on Monday hit the final nail on the head by stating that the Andhras from coastal AP were the main reason for Hyderabad's development. Therefore, they stand the right to Deputy Mayorship of Hyderabad. The Andhras had sold their rich agricultural property in Coastal Andhra and had invested it in Hyderabad for its rapid development. They have transformed Hyderabad into a world city. Praising the Andhras to the skies, the TDP leader expressed confidence that they were with his party. He condemned ruling TRS attempts at usurping the Andhras' votes by sweet talk. At the same time, the TDP leader took KTR's challenge of opposition leaders resigning if they lost the GHMC elections by countering that the IT Minister could keep his ministry if the ruling party lost the polls. But, in all honesty, the ruling TRS should make the six MLAs, who were forced to jump to the ruling party with inducements, to resign and hold byelections for those seats. If KTR was prepared for the challenge, the TDP was game for it. Taraka Ramarao's throwing such gauntlets was nothing new, Dayakar added.
