Cheating case against cloth store chain MD

A case of cheating has been registered against the managing director of a leading cloth store in the twin cities, Kalaniketan. The cheating case was filed by financier AVN Reddy, of Jubilee Hills, who alleged the MD, Leelakumar, had taken an amount of Rs.3.7 crore from him and did not return the money. The police registered the case and started investigations. Leelakumar was arrested and probe going on. Kalaniketan is a chain of cloth stores in the twin cities specialising in designer sarees, and is stated to be a pioneer in the garment industry.
