Second wife adds to Salwinder's woes besides honey trap

The New Year 2016 proves to be a terrible one for the Punjab Police Armed Battalion Assistant Commander Salwinder Singh. He is already sunk in the Pathankot airbase terror case, in which he is facing the charge of aiding and abetting the monstrous act by giving away his official car to the Pakistan-originated terrorists who were getting reportedly delayed for storming the airbase. Now a woman has surfaced saying she is the second wife of Salwinder Singh along with their 16-year-old son. As if that is not enough, a video is doing the rounds about the affair with the woman. The video has been put out by the woman's sister. After the two weddings, Salwinder Singh is facing a virtual funeral-like situation with intelligence suspicions that the Punjab police officer gave in to phoney honey trap by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence. In any case, Salwinder has been told to take a polygraph test, which should come out with all sleazy details that would be lapped up by the media. His personal life is getting murkier and murkier. No surprise then that he claimed he was returning from meeting a tantric at a nearby village on New Year's Day. Whatever the tantric told him, he was done in on that day itself. With the second wife surfacing and he being trapped by phoney honey from Pakistan, his career as a police officer appears to be all shambles. The Director-General of Punjab Police has taken cognizance of the second marriage, got a case registered against Salwinder Singh and directed for an inquiry.
