Seaplane Heli Tourism to take off from Tank Bund

People can hope to see the tourist sites in Telangana, not forgetting the Hussainsagar Lake in Hyderabad, all in one sortie. The Telangana government is shortly going to initiate heli tourism with the scenic Hussainsagar as the starting point, throwing open helicopter use to the public. The proposed routes are the Hussainsagar-Maner Dam and back and the Hussainsagar-Srisailam reservoir and back. The Telangana government is negotiating heli tourism with a seaplane company, and the agreement is in advanced stage of signing. As part of the proposal, the Seaplane company is understood to have visited the Hussainsagar lake on Thursday for starting the operations shortly. There are, however, many tourist spots in Telangana that cannot be explored by a helicopter sortie. The novelty apart, the Godavari valley in the region is one such scenic spot. The wildlife sanctuary in Adilabad is another. Then there is Stonehenge kind of prehistoric monument in Mahbubnagar district. Heli Tourism will focus on the Hussainsagar, and the seaplane may take off from there to the Maner Dam or the Srisailam reservoir.
