Airbase blast gets on Pathankot people's nerves

A big blast at Pathankot airbase even as combing operation was going on started agitating people living around the base on Tuesday. The bomb may have been a timing device or it was defused when the explosion occurred. The big explosion however is acting on the minds of people who have started speculating. The main question is how many terrorists are actually there in the airbase? How could the terrorists travel up to the airbase in Army's fatigues and not noticed by anyone? How did the terrorists know about the airbase's pinpoint map? Are there quislings helping the terrorists out? Even as the these questions are needling the people, the latest blast has become grist to the mill. They are sure there are terrorists still in hiding there. The security forces have accounted for six terrorists who were killed and combing operation was continuing for the third day on Tuesday. People's speculation and questioning are good for the future. It is they who can make the policing agencies act.
