Criminals conspired to assault girl on Infosys campus
A girl working as cashier clerk in the vast Infosys campus in Pune has told the police that she had repeatedly screamed during the criminal assault on her by the washroom attendant and another 3 days ago. She told the police that when she went to the washroom, the attendant there, Paritosh Bagh, had followed her and started criminally assaulting her in the washroom. Following her screams, one Prakash Mahadik came running. In screams she pleaded with him to save her. Prakash made no move to stop the assault. Instead he took to derisive laughter. The IT man then took out his smartphone, closed the washroom door from inside and started recording the assault. After recording the assault, the IT man warned her not to reveal the incident to anyone. If she dared to do so, they would upload the entire assault on social media. Both the assailants had planned the assault, the police said. The incident in the sprawling 115-acre Infosys campus occurred on December 27, and came to light on December 29. The police gave the details on Tuesday.
