Arvind Pangariya praises AP, Chandrababu
Andhra Pradesh is facing several difficulties such as lack of liquidity, funds crunch and so on, but the State is pregressing very fast, NITI Ayog Chairman Arvind Pangariya said in Vijayawada on Wednesday morning.
Talking to newsmen, Pangariya described Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as a dynamic leader. He is successfully leading the State towards progress.
He stated in this regard that interlinking of the Krishna-Godavari rivers was a great event.
He clarified that the Centre would do its mite for the development of AP.
Pangariya did not say a word about Special status for AP, which is the crux of the AP Reorganisation Bill. Also he did not give any assurance in regard to the liquidity and funds crunch the State is facing. If he had said something about the pressing matters, the people would have been reassured and the anxieties of opposition parties would have been satisfied.
The flattering references to Andhra Pradesh, `dynamic' Chandrababu Naidu and Pattiseema project are well known. What are wanted are funds for Polavaram, which is the crucial phase of the interlinking of rivers.
