Delinquent blackmails TV actress

A 16-year-old boy hacked the email and social media passwords of a TV actress in Mumbai and started blackmailing her that he would upload her private pictures on social media. The delinquent demanded Rs. 5 lakh for not uploading her private pictures. In a complaint to the Bangurnagar police in Dahisar in North-West Mumbai, the TV actress alleged that the delinquent had hacked her emails and got his hands on her private pictures. She was shocked when the boy sent her private pictures to her Whatsapp account. The delinqent had then warned her that he would not upload the pictures in the social media, provided she gave him Rs.5 lakh. The police took the delinquent into custody this morning. According to the police, the delinquent had similarly blackmailed and harassed four other actresses also. The boy however failed to collect blackmail amounts from them. With the delinquents getting emboldened, the recent amendments to thwart Nirbhaya-related cases seems some progress has been made.
