Scenes of jubilation as Ramadi city is recaptured

The Sunni majority city of Ramadi has been recaptured by US-trained Iraqi forces and IS terrorists have been driven out of the city, the Army has announced. The US-trained troops were fighting the IS terrrorists for the last 18 months. They have now control over the city centre. The Army declared last week itself that it had recaptured Ramadi. Rehabilitation of the genuine citizens is now in progress. Overwhelmed by the recapture, the people have been dancing in the streets of Ramadi with the armymen sporting light machine guns, interspersed with tanks. The Iraqi TV is telecasting the scenes of jubilation in Ramadi. The Army has announced its success in Anbar province also. But the Army is silent on the number of its casualties. Observers say the Ramadi victory and success in Anbar deprives the ISIS terrorists of their biggest prize in 2015.
