Bus driver causes Rs.400-cr loss to AI

A bus driver has caused a huge loss of Rs.400-crore to Air India at Calcutta airport. The incident occurred a couple of days ago. The bus driver did not follow the route meant for him, made a detour and collided with a stationary Air India plane, causing the huge loss. Experts who went into the collision estimated the loss to Air India at Rs.400 crore. When examined, the driver explained that he was tired during the night shift. A breathalyser test, however, gave him a clean chit. This incident is an example to show a small negligence can cause a big loss.
