Closed circuit TVs are going to be installed all over Kuwait from March 2016. The project is expected to end by December 2016.
The Kuwaiti project is aimed at keeping a watch on the movements of foreigners. Thus the Kuwaiti government is expected to monitor the happenings within the Gulf country on a real-time basis.
Flanked by powerful neighbours, Iraq and Iran, Kuwait is strategically located with massive oil reserves. Saddam Hussein's Iraq had invaded Kuwait in 1990 in the first Gulf War.
