1,000 jobs in 10 days

Hyderabad, Dec 11: In a record of sorts, 1,000 IIT Kharagpur students bagged jobs in just 10 days during campus placement this season that started on December 1, sources said. At least 1,100 students belonging to engineering, management and human resources branches bagged the jobs in the first phase of campus placement season, sources said. Last year it took 20 days for the first 1,000 students to get jobs through campus placements. The campus placements are to continue for another 10 days during the current season.
