TRS candidate Konda Murali elected unanimously as Warangal MLC

Hyderabad, Dec 10: With the withdrawal of five other independent candidates TRS nominee and husband of TRS MLA Konda Surekha, Konda Murali was today elected unopposed as the Warangal MLC, reports said. It may be recalled that three of the five candidates had extended support to Konda Murali two days back. The remaining two candidates also withdrew their nominations today in favour of Murali. Following this development, Konda Murali's election became a formality and it was unanimous.
