AP CS Krishna Rao speaks to TN CS, assures help

Hyderabad, Dec 3: On the instructions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the state's Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao today spoke to Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary and offered necessary assistance in view of rains and flooding in Chennai and the neighbouring regions. The TN CS is said to have requested the AP government to reduce the outflows from Pichatur Dam and other dams in Chittoor district. He is believed to have said excess outflows will flood Thiruvallur district in TN. In response, Krishna Rao had assured to assess the situation and do the needful.
