Cash-for-vote case: Forensic lab confirms voices of Revanth, Sandra

Hyderabad, Nov 27: In a new twist to the cash-for-vote case, the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has confirmed that the voices of Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) legislators Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and the middleman Sebastian that were recorded in the sting operation belong to the accused. FSL had taken Revanth's speeches in the Telangana Assembly as standard to compare his voice with that of the voice recorded on video and Sebastian's HTC mobile phone. FSL had also done a similar test in the case of Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. Interestingly, both the voices were confirmed. FSL has submitted its report to the ACB court, which is dealing with the case. The FSL is in the process of proving the role of TDP president and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu's involvement in the case. Therefore, ACB is in the process of taking samples of Chandrababu's voice after ACB court's permission.
