CVC Commissioner asks Andhra Bank to shift HQ to Machilipatnam

Hyderabad, Nov 25: In an unexpected development, Central Vigilance Commission Commissioner KV Chowdary is reported to have appealed to Andhra Bank management to shift the bank’s headquarters from Hyderabad to Machilipatnam. He made these comments while addressing the bank's customers at Machilipatnam. Chowdary recalled that the bank was established in Machilipatnam on November 28, 1923 by freedom fighter and visionary Pattabhi Seetaramaiah. Chowdari attended the 93rd Andhra Bank week-celebration as chief guest. Andhra Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Suresh N. Patel, the bank Executive Directors A.K.Rath, S.K. Karla and Krishna district Zilla Parishad Chairperson G. Anuradha were also present.
