Chandrababu gives green signal to APPSC to fill vacancies in govt departments
Hyderabad, Nov 21: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is said to have given the green signal to Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to go for new recruitment in order to fill up thousands of vacancies at the state, zonal and district levels.
The state government is believed to have directed the principal secretary (finance) to identify vacancies in the different departments in the state.
Sources said the CR Kamalnathan Committee, which was set up to finalise the cadre strength of he different department, has come up with a list of vacancies at different levels.
The list includes the following -
* State-level vacancies 4,081
* Multi zonal level vacancies 1,184
* Zonal level vacancies 22,462
* District level vacancies 1,42,878
* Total number of vacancies 1,70,605
