AP sets up jury to shortlist capital design

Hyderabad, Nov 20: Andhra Pradesh Secretary Energy (Infrastructure) Ajay Jain, who is also looking after the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), is reported to have announced that the state government has appointed a five-member jury to shortlist the designs for Amaravati's core region. Jain confirmed the jury has been tasked to finalise the designs of government buildings including secretariat, assembly and Raj Bhavan by February 2016. He said the construction works for the government buildings are expected to begin by June next year. He said the state government is consulting international level architects for the designs of the various buildings.
