Post Akhil debacle, Nag steps in to save Nithiin

Hyderabad, Nov 19: With film distributors demanding a refund following the debacle of Akhil Akkineni's 'Akhil' movie, reports are emerging that Akkineni Nagarjuna is believed to have come forward to help them and the producers Nithiin and Sudhakar Reddy. There are reports that Akhil's debut mvoie as a hero has burnt a hole of nearly Rs 20 crore to the pockets of the film producers. Soon after its release, Akhil's movie generated negative talk landing the producers into deep trouble. This is not the first time that distributors had demanded a refund following a debacle of a film. According to experts, distributors and theater owners are said to have made only 40 per cent of what they invested. Following this, a group of distributors and cinema theatre owners demanded refunds from Nithiin and his father.
