VHP leader Ashok Singhal is no more

Hyderabad, Nov 17: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal, who was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, Delhi on Friday after his health reportedly deteriorated, is dead. Singhal breathed his last at 2.20 p.m. at Medanta-The Medicity hospital, doctor Yatin Mehta announced. The 89-year-old Singhal, who was in critical condition, has been suffering from respiratory problems for over a month now. In October, Singhal was admitted to the hospital after his health condition deteriorated in Allahabad. The VHP leader was said to have been discharged just two days ago.
