TS appoints Anurag Sharma as full-fledged DGP

Hyderabad, Nov 13: Telangana government has today issued orders appointing Anurag Sharma as the full-fledged Director General of Police of the state with immediate effect. It may be recalled that the Centre had short listed in-charge Director General of Police Anurag Sharma, Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau A.K. Khan and Director of National Police Academy Aruna Bahuguna for selection as permanent DGP. The Centre had referred the names to Telangana government to take the final call.
