Awaiting govt nod to fill up 12,000 vacancies in police dept: AP DGP

Hyderabad, Nov 13: Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Ramudu today announced that the police department is awaiting state government's approval to fill up 12,000 vacancies in the department. Speaking to media, the DGP then said that the schedule has been finalised for the three-day visit of President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visakhapatnam from February 5. He said the two leaders will be attending the International Naval Exercise from February 4 to 9 at Visakhapatnam.
