2,904 additional police posts to be filled in Telangana

Hyderabad, Nov 13: With the Telangana Finance Department giving its approval for the filling up of an additional 2,904 vacancies in the different wings of the police department, the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) is expected to take up direct recruitment for the said posts. These 2,904 vacancies are in addition to the nearly 7,500 posts that are being filled up by the Telangana government. The following is the break up of the 2,904 posts - * Police Constables in Telangana State Special Police (TSSP) - 2,379 * Sub-Inspector TSSP - 90 * Sub-Inspector (Civil) - 101 * Sub-Inspector State Armed Reserve Central Police Lines - 2 * Police Constables (Communications) - 332
