60,000 Maggi 'welcome kits' snapped up in 5 minutes on Snapdeal

Hyderabad, Nov 12: It just five minutes online customers purchased 60,000 welcome kits of Maggi noodles on Snapdeal. Earlier, the e-commerce major had announced that it will sell Nestle's Maggi via a "flash sale model" as Maggi noodles made a comeback into the Indian market after being banned for five months. Maggi's welcome kit contained 12 packs of Maggi, a 2016 Maggi calendar, a Maggi fridge magnet, Maggi post cards and a 'Welcome Back' letter. The sale began today on Snapdeal and the first batch of 60,000 Maggi Welcome Kits were sold out in 5 minutes today.
