Wearing helmets is mandatory from today in AP

Hyderabad, Nov 12: Beginning this morning, wearing helmets has become compulsory for two-wheeler riders in Andhra Pradesh. After creating an awareness on the importance of wearing helmets, the AP government has finally made it mandatory for two-wheeler riders to wear helmets in the entire state. The AP Transport officials have made an announcement to this effect. The officials warned of imposing fines on two-wheeler riders if they fail to wear helmets. With people rushing to purchase helmets, prices have skyrocketed throughout the state.
