TDP leaders from Vizag agency to resign over bauxite mining

Hyderabad, Nov 10: Fear of Maoist attack and Andhra Pradesh government refusing to roll back it GO on Diversion of forest land for bauxite mining, Telugu Desam Party leaders of Visakhapatnam agency area are expected to resign from the party en masse after November 12. Meanwhile, the TDP leaders have sought an appointment with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to get a clarity on the mining issue, sources said. Of the 11 ZPTCS within Visakhapatnam agency area, TDP has 3 in addition to 4 MPPs. TDP also has over 30 MPTCs in the agency area.
