Chandrababu says he belongs to Seema, will not neglect it

Hyderabad, Nov 10: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu told his critics to stop making allegations that he and his government are neglecting Rayalaseema. Speaking to media after laying the foundation stone for the Urdu University at Orvakal, Chandrababu Naidu said some leaders were obstructing development. Instead, they were spreading false propaganda that he was not developing Rayalaseema, he said. Chandrababu said he belonged to Rayalaseema and would not neglect the region. He then said he will not tolerate any threats and will strongly counter the threats. Accusing the Congress party of failing to develop the state during its rule, Chandrababu said late Chief Minister NT Rama Rao had taken up several irrigation projects and ensured their progress. Chandrababu then said an international airport, industrial hub, IIIT, solar power plant, DRDO, and food processing parks would come up around the Urdu university. The chief minister announced the sanction of 125 acres of land and Rs 20 crore to the Urdu university that was named Abdul Haq University. Chandrababu said it was he who established the Moulana Abul Kalam Azad University at Hyderabad.
