Chandrababu's convoy: Vehicles reduced to 9 from 23
Vijayawada, Nov 02: The numbers of vehicles in Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's convoy were reduced to 9 from 23.
When Chandrababu was in Hyderabad, the number of vehicles in the convoy was 23. As per rule book and protocol, the CM convoy should have 23 vehicles.
As the CM is now staying in Vijayawada, officials reduced the number of vehicles in the convoy to nine.
Officials are even planning to withdraw ambulance from the convoy as Vijayawada government hospital and Manipal hospital can be reached within five minutes from the CM's residence.
A separate unit each with round the clock security is earmarked for the CM in the hospitals. A health unit equipped with necessary equipment will be set up at CM's residence.
