Bail denied for Pratyusha's parents
Hyderabad, Oct 29: The Hyderabad High Court dismissed the bail pleas of Ramesh and Symala, the parents who physically and mentally tortured their daughter Pratyusha in the most barbaric manner. The bail pleas came up for hearing yesterday. The couple were arrested in July this year after the girl's ordeal came into limelight. Ramesh is the biological father of the girl and Syamala is her step mother. The High Court has taken suo moto cognisance of the case and got her admitted to a hostel. Several persons including Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao came forward to adopt the girl and provide education to her. The parents counsel argued that the case investigation was over and chargesheet was filed and sought bail. Government's prosecutor strongly opposed the bail stating that they will certainly threaten the witnesses. He said that the parents tortured the girl and forced her to drink acid to grab property.
