EC releases Warangal LS seat by-poll notification

Hyderabad, Oct 28: The Election Commission of India today released the notification for the by-election to Warangal Lok Sabha constituency. As per the notification, the last date for filing of nominations is November 4. The nominations will be examined on November 5 and they can be withdrawn before November 7. The EC said the polling will be held on November 21 and the counting of votes will be done on November 24. At least 4,75,311 voters in Warangal LS constituency. 33,222 new voters had been added to the list after January 15, 2015. EC, meanwhile, confirmed that it will not make any changes to the present voters' list.
