Noted Telugu comedian Mada no more

Hyderabad, Oct 25: Veteran Telugu comedian Mada Venkateswara Rao, popularly known as Mada, passed away on Saturday night. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills ten days ago following ill health and he breathed his last at the hospital at 11 pm. He was born at Dulla village of Kadiam mandal in East Godavari district on October 10, 1950. Mada is popular for his roles in films like 'Chillara Kottu Chittamma' 'Muthyala Muggu' 'Lambadolla Ram Das', 'Malligadu' and other films. Mada is survived by four daughters. A horde of film actors visited the hospital and paid tributes to Mada. He worked in electricity department before venturing into film industry.
