Galla Jayadev unhappy with Modi for not announcing special status to AP

Hyderabad, Oct 23: In a significant development, Telugu Desam Party's Guntur Member of Parliament Galla Jayadev today said he was disappointed with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not announcing special status to Andhra Pradesh during the foundation laying ceremony on Dasara day. Speaking to media today at Guntur, Jayadev argued that a special status was very important for AP, which was facing financial crisis. Stating that the special status issue has turned into an emotional issue in the state, the parliamentatrian expressed his unhappiness over the Amaravati foundation ceremony and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's government. He expressed his dismay at the logic of seating Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the dais during the Amaravati function and ignoring the local sarpanch and local leaders.
