Chandrababu sprinkles holy water, soil over Amaravati
Guntur, Oct 21: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today sprinkled holy soil and water, collected under 'Mana Matti Mana Neeru' campaign from all corners of the state as well as the country, all over Amaravati from helicopter. According to reports, nearly 20,000 'kalasams' ( pitchers) containing soil and water collected from 16,000 villages, 4,000 wards and other places in the state as well as the country will be used to construct a memorial in Amaravati. Chandrababu regretted for not extending personal invitation to all due to shortage of time. Similarly, 'Samprokshana' (cleansing) process was conducted in all the religious places in the region. He hoped that Amaravati would emerge as the best among the top 10 cities in the world.
