EFLU issues notice to 12 students
Hyderabad, Oct 20. The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), a Central varsity located in Hyderabad, has issued show-cause notice to 12 students in connection with the protests on the campus on October 15. The students staged protests demanding 'restoration of democratic' space on the campus. As a part of the protests, students conducted meetings, musical gatherings, poetry reading session, film screening, poster presentation etc. The notices asked students why disciplinary action should not be initiated against them for incitement of unrest and disturbing atmosphere on the campus. The students were told to send their replies to the university Proctor's office by 5 pm Thursday.
